Holding on to memories...

Missing image

Once sitting in the far corners of my mind ...

seeing these pictures once again of you.

Over whelmed by your beauty.

Now rushes back the memories
of old times...

when we walked and talked together ...
where you promised to be mine.

We traveled new worlds and climbed to the peaks of San Pedro...Atitlan,  sat at the edge of a volcano and ventured through the villages ...views visitors seldom ever see.

We rested under waterfalls and looked out over skies resembeling the vast seas.

Atitlán  ebbing tides
fade
Guatemala

you were dear to me.

sweet memories remain sweet through the years.
i remember the song of barbara streisand "the way we were"
the way we were during those old good days together.

Dearest Glenn, thank you for reading and commenting on me.

These memories are true - I loved being there. Guatemala a world away and yet so close . Just a two hour flight into the heart of Guatemala just the otherside of Mexico and Belize'. If I had a helicopter I would visit again.

Just never - ever drive up again!
      Was very scary!

  • I have spent much time just sitting and thinking while observing nature. It was this solitude that helped me become more settled in myself. I miss being able to do that anymore. There really isn't anywhere around here that you can do that. Thank you for the write it was lovely.
