When I feel I have to cry

He comes to my rescue

With His arms open wide

 

I've no one but Jesus

When I'm feeling blue

He's comes to cheers me up

Theres nothing my Jesus can't do

 

I've no one but Jesus

When I need a friend around

He say's fear not I'll never leave you

I'll never let you down

 

I've no one but Jesus

When I drown myself in tears

He lifts me from my couch

Lends me a shoulder to cry on there

 

I've no one but jesus

I must depend on Him

Everything else fails me

I need his Life within

 

I've no one but Jesus

He's my only power

I can't live apart from him

He's my rain I'm His flower

 

I've no one but Jesus

He's wakes me in the morn

He's the sunlight in my heart

Every day anew my soul is born

    He's my rain I'm his flower!

    What a wonderful thought. I hope this is the case for me: that I am his flower too. Once again Sharon you have produced a delightful poem about our savior. I hope I get to meet you in heaven. I'm keeping the thought today that I am God's flower. I believe God's speaks to me through other people. He speaks through your poems. Praise God!

    Very powerful

    I have a great relationship with my higher power and can relate to this poem a great deal. It's very nice to hear and know that other people still believe in the importance of the roles that god plays in our lives!!

    Very powerful. The rhyme and flow are good. You may want to check line 7 and see if you left out a word. I like your style.
