Just Wait Until Tomorrow

Yesterday I cried.
I've seeked for any solace,
in today
that I could find.

Just yesterday I felt broken;
and yet had no idea,
that today
had not yet spoken.

And yesterday I lingered.
Today I found the courage,
to turn back on
my telephone ringer.

Another day,
a different day,
one apart from all the rest.

No need to fear,
there is still time....
for tomorrow may be even best.

Yes we should never forget that there is always a tomorrow which has not spoken yet.Which may not be dark.
This is a very positive thought about "Time" which is also the prompt of my contest. Thanks for entering and best of luck.

I am so sorry I opened your poem again. It is very good but it was an accident that I opened it again. I am really sorry.

Very nice and soothing. I especially liked how you did your background.

  • I like this a lot! Nice message, and I liked the repetition you used: "another day / a different day"and the use of 'yesterday' and 'tomorrow.' Well penned, this was a nice read.

And I like the ending... it's very hopeful and inspiring. one thing: the last line seems a bit awkward grammar-wise... maybe change to 'for tomorrow may be the best' or something like that? well penned though, this is a good write!
