I'm up on Alpha Centuri
Among the stars in space
I want to fall into his arms
But it would take so long
I decide to take that chance
And make that super leap
But then I remember
There's no gravity in space
So I close my eyes and try to imagine
How it would be if I could
So in my dream I take a jump
And I free-falling spiraling down
It has been 4.2 light years
Or so I am told
And I am just now breaking Earth's surface
Where gravity exists once more
I am still free-falling
As I remember, this makes me fall faster
So I greatly hope I can make it somewhere safe
And remotely close to him
I close my eyes and hear the impact
Shockingly, I'm well
I open my eyes to see
Him holding me
So, my dear friends
It really does take 4.2 light years
To free-fall into someone's arms from space
But when you do, it's the best feeling ever
