my anxiety

pay no attention to me
i'm here today but not here
just let me walk past
let me hide from the world

i cannot fathom why
this loneliness pervades me
i just want to be alone
i just want solitude

maybe tomorrow i'll be fine
or the next day, or the next
but today my heart can't take it
today just leave me alone
