She held the sharp razor to her already scarred wrist,
feeling as though she would always be dismissed,
she thought nobody cared,
and that her shattered heart couldn't be repaired.
He came to her, in a vision at first,
seeing her feelings, seeing she was cursed,
he kissed her lips, with so much love and care,
because he could see, she was in disrepair.
He spoke to her, in a gentle soft voice,
"You must stop this hurt, but it is your choice.",
He vanished, as if he was never there,
and she knew hurting herself was not fair.
She called his name in her sleep,
and into her thoughts, he would sweep,
he smiled and asked "Do you need me?",
she said "Yes, I want to finally see."
He removed the razor from her hand,
and took her to a different land,
he showed her the world as it should be,
she finally felt free.
The world had changed because of that simple choice,
she had listened to that angelic voice,
he became the love she never had
and now she would never feel that bad.

This is a poem about somebody who had their whole life changed, just because they listened.
