You looked at me
With tears in your eyes
I opened my arms
In hopes you had changed

I was too blind to see

i clenched my eyes so tight (they went numb)
I started to see through them

And pretty blue eyes
Were nothing but mere lies
And the powers you held over me
Started to fade away
As i closed the curtains
Behind my eyes
Blocking out
every
Sultry word you hissed out
Every
Romantic gesture you stumbled though
Every time you couldn't look me in the eyes
When you said "I love you"
The curtains have closed on this act
So look me in the eyes and say its not true
I wont look back
