The blood red petal fell from the blooming flower.
It's beautiful.
The same day came once again, the day the bloom does not look forward to.
The creeping flesh, a pair of round sticks came, February 14th, same as usual.
She had seen this happen many a time, creatures, huge creatures, come to take one of them away.
She'd seen friends, family, loved ones be taken every time the pink day on the calendar would be crossed out.
This time, she was unlucky, she was snatched from the bunch, pulled so hard her stem snapped, and stuffed onto a large wooden desk.
Then wrapped up tightly with a few aquaintances in plastic, so there was no air. Suffocating, the air drained from the tiny space faster than the speed of light.
She was taken to a lovely looking cottage, where she will be admired until February 21st, when her week is up.
