By Wisdom Broke

When I think of all past offenses,
God's laws I blindly broke
and misery suffered needlessly,
my heart with tears is choked.
Yet, when I cried out to You for help,
by wisdom I be broke,
with much love You responded quickly.
By Your tears I was choked.
Lord, I'm astounded I was chosen,
even given your keys,
that heaven's gates will open up wide
and I'll enter with Thee.
Since that day, Your wings have shielded me
from a vile enemy;
for I've kept my eyes on Your kingdom
and changed ways to please Thee.
Oh, how I love to obey you, Lord;
for your path is the best!
Your mercy and kindness above all
gives to me peaceful rest.
Dear Lord, I wish You'd come, even now,
and take us from earth's mess;
though it's not long before we're avenged,
Satan slain by Your Rest.

We know that we love God
because we obey His Commandments.

It just amazes me how we could write something that is meant to be shared years later as your write here, we do wish we knew what we know now back in the days long ago, but of course He gave us the Grace and Mercy to know now, that He covers us, that He shields what is left about us to be able to go with Him soon and very soon.
