At my age, there are few, if any,
things that give me pause,
and of those that do, I suppose
to understand the effect you
need to know the cause.
Even then there remains
much I have yet to figure out,
especially when it comes to people,
cause it's with them I find
most of my doubt.
I know the mind is a terrible
thing to waste and on you
it can play tricks,
but is it simply that or is the world
really filled to the brim with pricks!
Sure there's the exceptions,as there
is with each and every rule,
but it appears that on a daily basis the
number increases for every type of fool.
From your usual garden variety,
all the way to the high-tech brand,
I believe the fools have formed their
own coalition and vowed to take a stand.
On every aspect of society
you have fools just waiting to prey,
spewing bullshit, propaganda and other
nonsense as they go on their merry way.
I'm glad it's known that God takes
care of babies and watches over fools,
since it's truly hard to educate them
for they are even abundant in our schools.
No, I don't discriminate, I'm not bias,
I'm aware that fools need love too.
It's just that I wish instead of
providing them all the airtime,you
send them somewhere to get a
damn clue!
