Thick black lines
scorch under your eyes.
War paint covers
your natural beauty.
What seems fine
marks up your face.
Lying to protect
the truth inside.
Author notes
(when i was writing the title I accidently put Eye liver lol)
I wrote this because I hate when people put a ton of makeup on. That annoys me a lot.
If you were makeup, make it the right amount.(i sometimes wear makeup!)

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I liked it Celeste!

This is good. Short, sweet, and bitter. My only complaint is that you spelled "lying" wrong in the second to last line. Other than that, I liked it.

Very inciteful! You make me think of someone using make up as a mask to hide who they really are....or try to be something they're not! I LOVE the title (glad you caught the typo
). Kudos!!!

I totaly get what you mean. I know a lot of people who cake it on like they will never be able to wear it again. I like how short and sweet it is. Good luck in the contest!
