I am a child,
Lost in the snow.
I am beaten,battered and bruised,
from the trials of life.
I am scared,
Of what tommorow may bring.
I am hurting on the inside,
Afraid to let anyone see.
I am depressed,
Crying where noone can tell.
I am reaching out,
But noone is there.
I am me,
Trying to get through another day.

I really like this.
I think we all feel like that sometimes, it's so true.
Nice write. -
this is honest and real and it seems like you are very self-aware.
but parts of it seemed a bit cliche to me and I would try to find another way to put them.
I like the ending though. it felt like...WAM. excellent

You know this remaind me of a manga(japanese cartoon) called Vampire Knight , she is found at the age of 5 lost in the snow get attack by vampire get saved and remembers nothing of her past which is so cool, anyways your first lines "I am a child,
Lost in the snow". remaind me of that comic -
Poet
At times we are remiss and shallow but when the child is left to despair or when the heart feels so alone , can we not seek a kindness and understanding. Tears, at times, fall from these old blue eyes.
