Superhero Complex

i do everythng i can
just to help.
i've always read
comic books,
and watched cartoons.
seeing these extraordinary people
step up and do what nobody eles would
always just made me feel like
"why can't i do that?"
"why don't i do that"

im just a normal guy
with a superhero complex
i can't fly, or shoot laser beams form my eyes.
but i'm still gonna try
...i just want to help.

now the bad thing,
is people just don't care.
i do what needs to be done
and like the roman soldiers always expected,
i go the extra mile,
and who says thank you?
NOT A DAMN PERSON.
