i

blouse licked
toffee coloured floor

and pretended not
to listen to whispers
of colour moving over
               their bodies

he often took her mind
                     for a walk
along untouched sands

felt like
the soft light of sunset
between her toes

she
      almost dared to look down

iii

scent of daisies
laced her emotions

as if
       he sprinkled early summer
       around them
       each time she smiled
