as elevating as the midday sun.

the passion for which we hold.
Hearts melting with pride,
as the sun slips away.
The midnight sky blossoming,
I see the glitter blinking in your eye,
beaming for what is ours.
mine&yours.
A love to preserve,
to treasure...
... throughout the sun&moon.
I am worried this may be too cliche, it is about my baby boy! incredible how he has blossomed our relationship.

Yes, it is difficult to write any poetry about some aspect of love without being cliche, though I think you have largely succeeded in your effort here... so kudos to you!!!
