So I loved her,
at least I tried...
could not find her heart...
nothing was there.
I could try again,
I believe she has lost it...
or I could just leave it be;
she is nothing but heartache for me.

a good poem, ah that is how it rolls sometimes, we try our very best to find the sweet smiles but all we get is aches and pains in the spirit.

you too? Well, brothers in arms... this one was about that 'player'...

You have the heart of an elephant, and the soul to match. I believe you can pull through this one, as you have others. You captured "aching" quite well in this piece.

thank you, but in all honesty 'she' may just be a mirage...

washing your hands can always symbolise getting rid of someone or something and this is what i sensed here. Giving up and moving on. great write.

yes, and not as easy as it sounds... thanks...

Ouch... and with a bull face-pic, no less. Virility and power. Love hurts.

-
yes, the bull- from a cave painting... made by some desensitized caveman, no doubt... (who never had to worry about heartache! )
-
-
I figured that was what you had intended with it. Good to hear.

such a sad tone to this... yes, there is always heartache when yours is big and the other person doesn't have one.
-
-
thanks... sad because we like to be successful in such matters, and sometimes it is just plain impossible...
