Stupid Little Girl

Blonde hair,
blue eyes,
He caught her by surprise.
She texted him,
he texted back,
from then on it was a disater waiting to happen.
He came over,
he took her innocence,
made her weak,
made everything feel alright,
but you see,
he belonged to another.
That didnt stop them,
they kept at it,
saying "oh well we're friends",
we like to fuck,
to have a good time,
but deep down she always wanted more,
and everytime,
he made her believe it more,
that one day,
maybe it would happen.
They broke up,
him and his girl,
but she was still there,
by his side,
from the first girl,
to the last,
she was always there,
listening to his probelms,
trying to help,
to be the friend he needed,
trying to open him up,
trying to get inside.
They had their feuds,
they had their moments,
they didnt talk sometimes,
they didnt want to see eachother.
But it always passed,
they always came back to eachother,
to being friends,
she tried her best,
to be what he wanted,
she tried to change her image,
to be more like her,
but it was never good enough,
he told her he didnt want a relationship,
he told her nothing but friends,
and she started to believe,
but see heres the problem.
The road got rocky and she confided in him,
He opened up,
they got close,
or so it seemed.
He told her sweet little lies,
put a smile on her face,
gave her a glimpse of hope,
but in the end,
he tore her down,
broke her spirit,
all he had to do,
was stick with the usual,
"No Linda, I just want to be friends."
but he had to change it up,
and say
"somewhere down the line"
"when Im ready"
and all the little things that came with it.
But then,
time passed by,
it was rotting him away inside,
to know he took the easy way out,
instead of saying what was true,
what he really felt,
he had to lie,
to make her feel better,
so he grew some balls,
and spoke the truth,
itll never happen,
i just wanted to make you smile,
to make you feel better about yourself,
but see, heres the catch,
she should have known,
everyone told her,
her friends,
her family,
they all said the same,
it would never be,
give up hope,
move on,
hes just useing you,
nothing more,
nothing less,
and he knew,
as well as she,
all the shit she went threw,
to be his friend,
to fight for what she believed in,
so he lead her on,
so who was in the wrong?
Her?
Him?
Neither?
in the end,
they both lost something dear,
he's lost what he never wanted to in the first place,
he lost his friend,
the one he said knew him better then his parents,
all over something as little as a lie,
she lost all hope,
all her dreams,
crushed,
ripped from her heart,
thrown to the ground,
but, the heartbreak will continue,
for you see,
she knows in her heart,
she'll go back to him,
to be his friend,
to feel the emptiness growing inside of her,
to see his face and know that pain,
to know she'll never be what he wants,
to know she'll never be her,
and it kills her inside,
but hey thats life,
a constant cycle of grief and happiness,
and the heart break
of a stupid little girl
who never learns her lesson..
