Beneath all of the ruffles and laces
she's screaming and screaming and no one cares
or listens and she cries because
nothing matters anymore because
she's tainted and broken and she's
just going to forget all these things
because that's what good
little girls do.
Beneath the tea cups and dolls
she's crying and crying because she's been hurt
and bruised and broken and she's
tired of it but she can't do anything
because if she did everything would just fall
apart so she would just have to bear the pain
because that's what good
little girls do.
Beneath the bright blue eyes and blonde ringlets
she's laughing and laughing because she knows
that you'll come back that you can't stay
away and that she's got you wrapped around her
little finger and she's gonna make you
hurt and bleed for what you did
because that's what good
little girls do.
