Laura Richards wrote eletelephony
an elephant caught in a phone booth
louder buzzed the telephee.
Now he is caught in a bus instead
How will he get ahead?
This not a circus train.
He is face first with his caboose at the end.
where is the circus van?
In a circus train the elephant would fit in.
How will eletelephony get loose,
It seems he can not get in
head first and big butt last.
How did he get his trunk in?
He never tried this in the past.
Eletelephony does not have a bus pass.
This lady is laughing , She does not know
which direction the elephant should go.
His trunk always get caught
even in the phone booth I was taught
to much water bloating again
and drinking it now and then.

I learned this poem in fifth grade and this pic made me remember it.
