Young and full of interest
Things seeming beautiful or tasteful
Senses masked by adrenaline
Older, gaining life experience
More knowledgeable
Everything's deceiving

I usually don't understand poetry, but I totally get this. I like that it's not the play by play low down of age helping you see through the lies in your surroundings. I actually find flowers more lovely now that I'm older. My perspective changed, but for me it was like the foggy film was taken off and now I really do see the flowers.
