Open Her Arms

Cool misty breathing
From a woman so tuned to the earth
Mother Nature's soft early morning exhale
And her sharp intake of dawn.

Wind whipping in through the window
Soft tendrils of a human thing
Caressing pale cheeks and grinning lips.

No noise but the delicate patter of
droplets against the front
and the hum of the engine
carrying me onward.

Lonely all the time, but wanting to be alone
when I so choose.
Oh it's a beautiful thing
in it's simple nature.

Just let me make a choice...

Please tell me what you think
