Jasmine after the rain...

...in that small garden, next to the sea,
offered us its mesmerizing scent.
Hug me and listen to the swallows
singing their merry, after-the-rain carols
to the soft, white beauty of jasmine.

Then, for a long time into the night
when we whisper the love,
the scent will mix with the air
and we will inhale it once again
between our carnal, laced lips.
