Shooting Star

A shooting star tumbled to this world
Losing the glory it possessed in its fall
Nothing left but skin and bones
To survive is to exist in the deep blue

Fallen angel, fallen star, here I think the same idea applies. The starfish becomes a symbol of that fall and hence any act of survival is necessary. It all seems like a metaphor for our lives, on how to struggle through bad times.
