I Wish You Said Goodbye

Tears pool at the edge of my eyes
They fall down
Their journey to the ground hampered only by my cheeks
Diluting the blood soaking into my bleached white socks
Your eyes, which once sparkled like shimmering stars,
Now blankly stare into the concrete walls of your parent's basement

Never
To Cry
Again

Author notes

I miss you Rebecca

  • Sad. A little awkward I must say. But I get your point. This is what you would walk in to see someone dead like this. Well written. Thanks for entering.
