Gun fire ruptures around our loved ones
there lives become taken forever
never to return to us
taking from our lives, but still in our hearts
forever to be remembered, never to be forgotten
a life taken forever has left me and my soul rotten
why does there have to be such violence
its deadly and leaves everything in silence
but now a life is taken forever
the spirit has come to visit
and he tells me he is doing well
he says he is in a better place
and i look at him with a smile as tears roll my face
his wings flutter and his halo shines bright
as he flies off into the heavenly night

A very sad write and painfull to read, the people who did this to your friend deserve bad punishments as murder is a bad thing of course and should be dealt with very seriously. I hope you are okay anyway, stay strong he wouldn't want you to be sad now would he?
