Dear Darling.

Dear Darling.

You claim to not be needed, and label yourself as useless. Oh, but the world wouldn't revolve without you here. The moment your clock runs out of ticks, and the grains of sand in your hourglass finally all hit the bottom, the earth will reverse on its axis, trying to reverse time, and bring you back to life. So it may reclaim its most prized possession.

The moment the Pale Death touches your shoulder to turn you around and take you away, the air will no longer smell as sweet and the colors will never be as vivid. The rapture of my heart will dull to a sullen glow. You, my dear. Are the crux of my soul.

I love you.

Always yours,
Me.

Author notes

crux - most important part.

No idea if this is what you want. But I tried.

  • Dear "Me",

What is dead, cannot be brought back to life. No matter how hard you try. I cannot suggest to you what you may fill as a void but I hope you do find it.

    Take care,
    M.
