Ashen cranberry bleeds
Ostentation dithers
Mourning has commenced
Slowly, delicately they separate
falling, trembling as her partner in pairing
quickly attempts
to catch his lover
Unknowing, his glow of golden
is shading deeper
Author notes
Autumn
We always are stricken by the beauty of seasonal death. What a beautiful time of the year.

This is autumn, colors are changing, death is coming as the leaves are falling losing their cranberry and golden colors. Emotion, death.

Love that last line, shading deeper. Very well penned. Best of luck.
