Nowhere and Back

I've been to nowhere
I've hit rock bottom
I've been to that place
That no one wants to go
That no one ever is
That place where you just don't exist
It's the darkest place I've ever seen
You can't see anyone
You can't even see yourself
It feels like you're nothing
You can't breathe
You can't see
You can't love
You can't be
You can't find nowhere
You just end up there
No idea how you got there
No idea how to get out
I've been there
I never thought I would be
But I was
No idea how I got there
I had no idea how to get out
But here I am
Somewhere
I'm no longer nothing
I'm no longer lost in the midst of nowhere
I'm not sure who rescued me
Who placed me into the light
I'm somewhere now
I'm something now
Maybe not to someone else
But at least I'm something to myself
I exist
I can breathe
I can see
I can love
I can be
I'm not nowhere
I'm not nothing
I may not have anybody
But at least I'm somewhere
And I'm something to me
