So, test the waters of your sagacious Soul -
In shallow, be-sparkled pools dwell
beneath the vagaries of breath
that
you
may
know
a heart beat never deceives
nor does it offer up timelessness.
In plundering rapids careen,
scoured brutally, healingly raw
that
you
may
feel
pain and his mentor loss
yet rise once again, a seeker.
In murky becalmed depths descend,
all pretense of the eye's mind
crevasse-bound, irretrievable -
that
you
may
see
vivid visions beyond clarity’s realm.
In the ocean’s clamoring tumult reside,
dashed by white-washed waves
while sea beasts hiss and thrash -
that
you
may
hear
alluring lullabies humming through your veins.
In boggy swamplands burrow,
all orifices flushed with briny sludge,
that
you
may
taste
fear’s sweaty tinge upon your tongue;
on your lips, surrender’s succulent kiss.
Yes, gauge the waters of your discerning Soul,
to, through and beyond
mortal wisdom’s pinched portal,
that
you
may
know
see
feel
hear
taste
Soul’s illimitable essence;
the awe, the all-inspiriting force -
Hope’s diligent Chancellor.
And
finally -
believe.

WOW! I really like this, and the layout is nice too.
"fear’s sweaty tinge upon your tongue;
on your lips, surrender’s succulent kiss."
Absolutely loved those two lines!
