My walk with the Lord
is not as easy as it would seem
it's hard to give up past sins
that still make me feel unclean
still doing some of the same mistakes
as I had done before
now as I walk in my new life
these sins are hard to ignore

I feel like a crutch
when I'm walking with the Lord
instead of graceful wings
allowing me to soar!
I try to read the bible, everyday
and complete my Sunday school lessons
I try but sometimes I don't make it
and still I receive His blessin's
He knows I'm not perfect
He sees with the holiest of eyes
still I don't give up
luckily He appreciates, my many trys

Anointing
Very touching....as a poem its wonderful and i bet if i could here the melody its a wonderful song....it hit me deep emotionaly....I was brought up in the church and i know how it feels to always be weighed down by your sins...thats suprising coming from somebody as young as me but i can relate....i think its a wonderful poem/song...

Well being a baby christian I REALLY feel weighed down by ny sins! But i'm trying and that's better than not trying!

This is REALLY great! I can see what you're saying-it's exactly the way I've been feeling for so long...Since I don't know the tune, I don't know exactly how it flows as a song, but as a poem, it's amazing! It's powerful and just beautiful. No matter what you do, how many mistakes you make, just have faith in the Lord and He will forgive, for He is merciful and great!
