Story of the Chosen One.

Walking the halls, a boy sees light shining down, forces a grin
Seeing the unnamed power that washes away his sin
But sitting in the Cathedral, the boy senses uneasy corruption
He asks the father; "Why do I feel your words are poison?"
The father places the boy inside the booth of which his test will begin
The father tells him "Let go this hate inside or it shall be your own prison."

Without question the boy accepts the fathers request
But deep down, he knows what's best
Walking the hall, he stands in the window feeling as though he's on a quest
The light comes back and says "Worry not my child, just now begins thy test."
The boy nods and father continues "Do not think I love ye less"
The light intensifies, boy falls to his knees the light says "Go home and rest."

Feeling empowered the boy looks around but doesn't tell his family
Confused the boy asks himself "Is this real? or have I simply gone crazy?"
The light shines into his room and says "It's ok child, be not afraid of me."
Years go by and the boy comes to be a man, living with this secret easily
The light shines and says "My son the time is near to bring thy peaceful way."
The man standing tall, tells those close to him "Please listen to what I have to say."

And so he confides, the secret of which he had been endowed
Though all seem to believe, he can sense one is still in doubt
Feeling pain he turns to the light and asks what is it all about
The light says "Please son don't be of rage, be calm without shout."
The sands of time go by, and his status brings morale draught
The one in doubt goes forth and forces the chosen one out

Locked in prison, the outside rants are all the man hears
Looks through the window and asks "Why? after all these years?"
The light shines and says "Thy son it's the only way to speak in their ears."
The man awakens ready, to walk to the boos and cheers
Pelted down and scorned, his love and will through the world sears
Nailed to the stand, apologizing to the light, he leaves the world in tears
