Poetry comes from the heart
So ask yourself this....
"Can you name the one you love, and who you'd like to kiss?"
Poetry comes from the soul
So question yourself....
"Would life be different if you were somebody else?"
Poetry is inisde your head
So think about why....
"You dont just gove up on life, and curl up on die?"
What is it that inspires you, into staying alive?
Who is special enough to make you cry?
What memories are there buried in your mind?
What would you do with life, if you had the time?
Where would you be, if you had a choice?
Why does your poetry give you a voice?
How is it that you are here, asking us to inspire you?
Do you want to get those words out, But dont quite know how to?
The question, is in the question, The answer in the Rhyme...
Just look at the question and you'll have your first line

thank you so much for entering my contest, I love how your questions were woven into a poem! :)
I never thought about who to kiss
right now this is something I don't miss
for the one true love I'm willing to wait
I'm sure I'll meet him before too late
how can I imagine to be someone else
when it's the immortal soul that dwells
within this earthly shell that will not last
each day I live, but death approaches fast
but I know where I'll be going when my days are done
because I gave my life and soul to my Lord, the only One
I do enjoy this life but I'm not afraid of dying
I hope that when I've left this world, people won't be crying
'cause when I die, I'll have lived a life
full of purpose - maybe as a wife
or maybe single, that's in God's hands
I'll wait for Him to reveal His plans
serving Him is what inspires me
to savour each day, to write poetry
it inspires the smile on my face
to know that I live by God's grace
everyone's special is their very own way,
so an answer to this question I cannot say
but everyone who is in need
who doesn't know how to make ends meet
who lives a life full of sadness and fears
can easily move me close to tears
just like the memories I'm trying to forget
they haven't vanished completely yet
if I had enough time, I'd do so many things
travel the world, and see what each day brings
help those in need, try to ease their pain
kneel on dry land and pray for rain
I'd be far away from home, down in Africa
live in the places where the needy are
show God's love to the people around
and pray for their lost hope to be found
and I will keep on writing what's on my mind
and hopefully, my words will be loving and kind
and touch people's hearts, move them in some way
give them hope in their darkest day
writing is my way to reach out
it's a part of me, no doubt
but sometimes I don't know how to
share these thoughts and hopes with you...
