The World Revolves

Insane
This world we live in,
The heartbreak; the hunger,
The pain; the fury,
For every war fought
Summons another black rose
In the field of the damned
Unknown,
Yet so obviously visible
Behind every closed eye
And every turned head,
Screaming so loud
Only silence is heard.
Trust;
Lost no sooner than found,
Carried away by the breath of the mighty,
Sinking lower into the fiery depths
Of the tenuous ocean
To be stolen
And never returned,
For each war, each mistrust,
They rapidly bloom:
Black, bane, lifeless roses,
Once so beautiful
Now so wretched,
Weeping down
With tears of sand
Each contributing to
The universe's hourglass,
For when the sand stops falling
The insanity,
The World,
All aspects of life
Will break down and shatter,
Like the glass walls containing the tears,
Leaking out the sand
Spreading what the world has given unto them:
The uncontrollable,
Unforgiveable,
Unforgettable,
Evil.
