I loved the silence of falling snow
And even as a child
felt regret running onto
Pristine field to play
Knowing I was ripping blankets
with my passing
But I never learned to fly
to leave no footprints
In my touching
So I try to make
My footprints
Beautiful
Learned to love
the scrambled ice of tears
Left behind
Messes I could rarely clean
But cared for deeply
Sometimes I gaze to the sky
To see if your
perturbations
Indicate you dance
With celestial influence
In close unseen orbit
Your spoken name
doesn't discourage me
For I learned that I just
don't know the plan
from beginning to end
A bond servant of the master
Has no shame in not knowing
As I crash back, spent
First stage hoping for
a successful launch
Watching the waters below
In reflections
I might find myself
A thing of meaning
in vertical horizon
Of eternity

I have no doubt that you will find yourself a thing of meaning. Thank you for the link that brought me here and for your comment.

The first two stanzas feel particularly strong to me, though I adore this whole write. Absolute favourite section was the part about making footprints beautiful because you hadn't learnt to fly... love those lines right there.
Brilliant.

my moon, God must love when you come calling.

Beautiful thoughts penned here.

Congratulations ...
on this HM. Your deep yearning to be encased in the divinity of love is apparent in all of your poetry. And: of course you are.

I Liked,
I liked the begginning especially here,
not wishing to disturb something so very beautiful.
