Pain as Peace

Peace is as real as ridicule, as fighting and finding.
Peace is easy enough to steal, harder to find your way in.
Pain is the same, they are one - each holding onto purple rain,
like blood in a close vein, that peace and that pain.

Author notes

"so I raided the fish bins
of my hostile memories,
and remembered that even

numbness is a feeling..."
