The sun has gone asleep
The moon and stars come out to peep
The flowers bow there heads
And the leaves curl in there beds
The trees that stand so tall
They hardly sway at all
The birds no longer sing
And man no longer does his things
But God is always on call
He takes care of us all
The lights come on in the street
For cars to drive for lovers to meet
The wise owl looks about he gives a hoot
You can hear him shout
Bats fly from tree to tree they have fun
Its there time you see
The badger comes out of his whole
Its his time for a little stroll
And whats that on the road I see
hedgehogs one two and three
Now here comes Mr snail leaving a silver trail
And spider spins her web all this when we are in bed
Safe and dry blankets and pillows cosy now
