The days were cold
A sprinkle of rain drops
I miss the days where everything was gold
Now all you here is sobs
Why do we cry these tears
The beauty has dissappeared
The end is near
And I float around
Not even hearing a sound
The cold, and tears making my soul bound
All because it is nolonger golden
The skies have shied away
Now it's time for me to lay

I think that this is the aftermath of the absence of it, the wanting it back and comparing how it was with and without it. The depression at the end is displayed beautifully. I love it. thanks for posting this. I haven't been reading poetry on here in so long I had to go through my faves and come check out a poem or two. I'm back now so hopefully I will get caught up on your writings and STAY caught up on them.

I'm not quite sure how this applies to wanting the gold... but a lovely poem at that.
Thanks for entering~
