Within the walls of stone I feel
A will of iron, mind of steel
A fearless man with sword in hands
Who never yeilded to demands.
His spirit whispers to me now
I see his weathered face, somehow
For he has crossed the great divide
To take this journey by my side.
I feel his presence in the air
A touch that takes away despair
As footsteps glide across the room
They chase away impending gloom.
A smile that lights the morning sky
Within the echo of a sigh
We walk together through the rain
To see what battlefields remain.
As Guenevere and Lancelot
Stand side by side in Camelot
They watch us as we walk the land
Myself and Arthur, hand in hand.

Thiis is perfection. Wonderfully rich and smooth, soothing and refreshing. Positive and fulfilling, comforting and heartwarming. This makes me smile and feel good inside.

nice meter there, poet.
and rhyme too - a couple of spelling errors but I can forgive that. . .the typo gremlin gets us all (so Purrsanthema says. . .) The only thing I wasn't sure of was - who exactly is hand in hand with Arthur if Guinevere is with Lancelot in the castle? Merlin? Sorry, I guess I'm just being slow.
Nice work, poet, thanks for sharing
