smell his fragrance brushing up against my neck,
see his eyes
so able to tell what lives inside
lie in his bed realizing it isn't as comfortable as mine
as fitting as mine
as familiar as mine.

his touch by blindfolded fingertip
the feel of his hair like straw or feather lifted by mapped palm
to not know where I belong
from one bedroom poster to another
I follow and not know
that I don't want lust
I want love
but not love over lengths
love now
I just want to be close
so close that skin can't be felt.

your descriptive images keep the character in check. i like being able to see what it is surrounding her. and the meshing of skin is quite reliant when it comes to making fear the overcoming force in ending this.
