Locked up inside
Never to go outside,
But who says she'll listen
After all she's 17.
Her father tries to keep her locked up,
Never to leave him alone;
To keep him company
For his own selfish needs.
To know her godmother,
Her father never wanted;
He lied to her and told her she died
With her mother when she was a baby.
She wanted a cure for her health
And there was one who could
And promised her he'd cure her,
The only thing was what she had to do to be well
Was one thing she'd never do.
Her father may have hidden things
But never could she imagine
The things he never told.
Her health meant nothing
When it came to saving her father
But even love wasnt enough,
For soon enough he was to die.
She sat there by him on the ground,
Holding and singing til he died,
But all he could do was tell her that he loved her
And she was the world to him.
Everything went black for him
And she cried out her everything;
Getting up she leaves behind the scene of death.
The cure was dead as well,
But she'd still be fine
She never needed a cure in the first place.
It was all just a game
One that ended in her to kill her father,
But she wasn't going to follow in his footsteps,
And she did the right thing.
But no matter what the game still one,
It killed so many,
Her father included,
Now she was left alone,
To defend herself and to make herself a better life.
