i never thought
i just sat on the shore
the waves spilling over the
the pebbles... cold
and dark like the sorrow
that now rushed over my
conscious thoughts
until i sat with tear
drops weighing down my
charcoal coloured eye lashes
as i fought to see
a new beginning where
things weren't blurred
by a incomprehensible shadow...
but where did that lead me...
nothing to gain... how do
you survive when life is a page
in a story one better left
unwritten... you believe
so now i sit on the shore
the waves ripple amongst
the sun kissed sand
leaving faint tracks...
somehow a smile will creep
onto my face and the wind
will brush the tears from
my rose tinged cheeks
believe that you
can see the positive side...
just think of the shore
on one side waves crash
against it on the other...
its just warm sand until it
abruptly ends... but so does
the ocean... somewhere so does
the sadness!

That's a very well formed poem. Made me feel like you were a leaf just trying to be a part of the night but the wind just wont let you be still as you try and grasp the love of the ocean and the long sandy beautiful beach.
Very well made poem, my only suggestion is that you take out "well" found at the end of the poem. It would make the rest of the poem feel more fluid at the end.
Thanks for writing this neat piece.
