Inside

When I'm faced with either a moral or ethical choice
I look deep inside my consciousness to truly see
what inner force can give full and resolute voice
to show what I truly must seek to finally be!

Inside me there is a place of absolute and total calm.
If I quiet my thoughts and sink into watching that place
it's as if I've found both quiet and a healing balm.
Sometimes it feels like God smiles and touches my face.

Any problems I might have, here, them I can resolve
for here in my inner self lies God's truth for me
and His truth all problems can I quickly solve.
This wonderful inners place makes outer me free.

It's where God and I communicate each day
and I find solutions to diverse worries.
In my inner being answers from God play
like snowflakes descending in white flurries.
