Unquenchable Thirst

Burning, yearning, unquenchable thirst;
Drink it in the morning, first things first.
Mix it in tonic, put it on ice,
Or drink it up straight and double it twice.

Swizzle it, guzzle it, pour it all night,
Bleary eyes red in the morning light.
Whisky,  Bourbon, Scotch and Rye;
Love it to death till the day that you die.

    I fancy a good Irish whiskey myself, and of course in moderation.

    "inebriated" is definately the operative word here Moses! this fits the contest to a "tee"... in the second stanza, you have the "hard stuff" all listed, the second line of that stanza sums up the morning after very well!

    Well done.

  • This is definitely an upbeat, rhythemic rhyme - and about the hard stuff? YES!
