I know that you're old enough
but be smart and use your head
don't smoke if you haven't started
it will only bring you death
Gambling may be fun
but don't go over the top
a couple bucks here or there
but when you decide to bet the house... please stop
You can go out and have fun
but don't let accidents be your fault
because you're eighteen and LEGAL
you will be charged as an adult.
You're still too young to drink in bar
but if your home; keep it under control
you still have three more years
before you sleep in the toliet bowl
So have a happy birthday
listen to the warnings; you'll be glad
You dont want to know what happens
when good girls go bad....

im not too great at happy or funny poems....but its just a little something that i tried to come up with. Im trying to bring out the dangers, but also make it funny. Hope you have an awesome birthday

Funny and fitting
I love this poem.I have entered this contest also,and tried to make my write amusing,but having read your poem,I am laughing.The message is so serious,but so wonderfully penned.It makes me smile at the laws regarding drinking alcoholic beverages,I live in England,in the midlands,and in our public houses and clubs,the legal age for purchasing and consuming alcohol is eighteen,the same age as the limit for buying tobacco based products.
