Well here goes, I need to tell you something
Reasons why you shouldn't love me
Reasons you should hate the love I bring.

I'm a real terrible listener and pretend to care
I lie and don't always tell the whole truth
I run from commitment, flee from love
And I also have an insatiable sweet tooth.

I hate your cooking, detest your love of life
I'm an attention seeker and have horrible hair
Sometimes I wish you would just disappear
And my arguments aren't always fair.

My temper can flare at the silliest thing
I think too much and forget important dates
I'm extremely lazy and a procrastinator
And I'm everything that everyone hates.

But as there are reasons you should hate me
There are also reasons you should love me

I will always get you the most personal gifts
I won't stop thinking about you all day
I'll never willingly insult you and always have tact
And even if you hate me, I'll love you anyway.

I will never forget you, even if you forget me
I'll never get tired of spending time with you
And even when times get tough, I still won't flee.

I'll never forget to kiss you and smile when you're here
I won't ever cheat or ignore you when you need attention
I won't depend on you for everything but I'll need you
And when you're embarrassed, clear the air of all tension.

But the number one reason you should hate me
Is the number one reason why you should love me
Because I don't hate you at all, not even a little bit
