pulling you

i dream
you find me here
inside these words

and recognize me.

i dream
my every secret wish
you know

as though i laid them out before you
as though i wrote them on your soul

silently.

if the universe
the world - my life
is real

and you are not

or if you are real
somewhere far away
some when

and i am but a figment

i invest myself completely in these words
i forfeit the corporeal in favor of this thread

pulling.

let everything that is
rise up between us
i summon you -

i will it.

across eternity
in the face of reason
i believe completely

that these thoughts will bring you here
that your heart will bring you here.

you will find me.

    Wouldn't it be nice? If thoughts could do this. Thoughts are pure. They don't worry about rejection, obstacles, the future. What we think is always the truth. Sometimes, our mouths hijack our thoughts, or is it the seconds before we want to spill the truth of our feelings? Those seconds are filled with worries, and pour worries over our thoughts like a substance that changes the make-up of things. Love this. it is a beautiful love poem, of pure feelings, i think, that weren't spoken when given their chance or maybe never had the chance or courage. I have felt that thread before.
