The clouds darkened over head,
the cracks and whips of lightning show form,
and I think to myself,
back to our time in the rain,
So I run to meet it,
this front, this storm,
I dress my self and meet it,
and outside I stand,
and as the wind encompasses me time and again,
I feel as if you have wrapped your arms around me once more,
as if you have kissed the back of my neck once more,
as if, our lips have spoken once more,
the language that is their own,
and the rain falls,
just what few drops take head of the storm,
just before it calms once more,
just before it calls once more,
and when it steadies itself,
just before heaven's tears break loose,
the only tears that fall are my own,
wishing, knowing, loving, wanting
for only one,
one beauty,
only you...

Reminded me of a song called "october" by a band called Evanescence, You should listen to it.
A nice write. Thank you for entering and good luck!
Thank you

Very pretty poem. The repeated word groupings work very well to diliver the emotion.
