On this moonlit night,
Everything seems alright,
Don’t want the day to come,
I can’t have this perfect dream undone.
We could stay forever in this place,
Never let a precious moment go to waste,
In this midnight sonata,
Without any meaningless bravado.
We are the people hidden behind mirrored eyes,
Where we tell no illustrious lies,
Heaven can be with us for always,
This is my heartfelt wish to stay.
I know it’s only a fleeting dream,
But in this miraculous moment I believe,
That we could last a lifetime,
And it could be the perfect crime.
A place where we’d never have to go back,
To laborious lives where we lose track,
Of the synchronous symphony we share,
And I can leave this fools heart bare.
No more hiding behind closed doors,
With private eyes cast to the floors,
Instead of heads held high with confidence,
But it’s an unreachable goal, isn’t it?
I’ll still remember this fleeting forever with you,
Where everything was both terrible and true.
