To Lift You Up
Sweet dreams will wish your burdens gone
And give the breath of hope anew
Melodies hum faithfully strong
As heart-strings play this piece for you
Some say they sway within each breeze
And darkness is the path they seek
I only wish your pain to ease
Though sense a soul that's incomplete
I'm no angel that's placed here for
Answering prayers from heaven's skies
Though grace I place upon wings tore
As I see through compassion's eyes
I'd grant a wish to take all fear
Erasing all pain and sorrows
Hide within my darkest nightmare
And mend you better tomorrows
Let me carry this cross my friend
With dreams I weave with much success
You'll never feel this weight again
As I lighten your night's distress
Knowing no more pain or sorrow
Feeling just what you've longed to feel
Gold at the end of each rainbow
This dream is now yours to reveal
And live as long as you want to
You could dream as long as you live
See through windows so tender true
The power will be yours to give
To you I share my inner soul
A dream I choose to live for all
As broken pieces make me whole
I'll love you so you'll never fall

"Though grace I place upon wings tore As I see through compassion's eyes"- this was my fav line- I am becoming slightly obsessed with you work,each poem I read of yours is somehow better than the last, you are truly an inspiration and that shines brightly through your work!
