Basic Human Rights

Why must there be 'special' rights, when we supposedly have 'human' rights?
Who someone loves is NONE of anyone else's business.

Some folks may quote bible scriptures that THEY say is against same sex couples, but what I know for a fact (from the Bible) is, God is Love. God is the creator. And with that being said, HE created each of us. We all have different likes and dislikes. Who are we to label and then condemn someone for liking something we don't?

If Bob loves Gary and Debra loves Sandra, that is awesome!! It is wonderful that each of them have found love. Each of them are entitled to all the rights that everyone else has.  To my knowledge 'human rights' do not have conditions or stipulations. Only humans have created those. Is that because they lust after control? Not sure but that may be a sin!

I think control has a lot to do with this 'situation'. Women have only had the right to vote in the US since 1920 when the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution granted nation-wide suffrage to women. Slavery was abolished in 1865, but in both cases there are many more issues that need to be addressed, I included these two to make a point, and I hope you can see what I mean. Control is a major factor.

Who we love and even may want to marry is no ones business but our own. If you  disagree, I do know there are countries that condone arraigned marriages, so maybe you can live there!

Bottom line is this. The right you choose to oppress or stop today, may very well be one that you feel you are entitled to next time.

I know this was not written in proper free verse, but it is how I feel about the topic.

I think you made your point of view very clear.
I may not agree with others lifestyle, but who am I to judge. I think JESUS sumed it up best---"He who is without sin, cast the first stone".
    I'll leave it there.

You have made it to the finals
I am going to take some time and re-read in depth
